Asbestos Abatement Across the Bronx
Every Bronx neighborhood, plus Yonkers and Mount Vernon just over the line.
Asbestos Removal Bronx works throughout Bronx County: Mott Haven and the South Bronx, Fordham and the Grand Concourse corridor, Parkchester, Morris Park, Pelham Bay, Throgs Neck, Co-op City and Riverdale, along with Yonkers and Mount Vernon across the Westchester line. The building stock is dense and mostly older. Prewar walk-ups and elevator buildings, postwar towers, big co-op complexes, row houses and commercial strips. Asbestos turns up in all of them, in boiler rooms, riser chases, hallway floors and ceilings, and every job is surveyed before anything comes out.
Multi-family buildings
Shared risers, boiler rooms and hallways mean tenants nearby. Enclosures and negative pressure keep their air clean.
City rules inside the borough
Bronx jobs run under DEP's asbestos program and DOB filings. Yonkers and Mount Vernon jobs follow state rules.
Same desk everywhere
Riverdale or Mott Haven, (718) 717-7886 gets you the same people and the same standards.

How Jobs Run Across the Borough
The standard is the same on every block. A certified inspector samples the materials your work will touch, an accredited lab confirms them, and the scope is built from what came back positive. Abatement happens inside a polyethylene enclosure under HEPA negative pressure, the material kept wet and the air sampled throughout, and the space opens back up only on a passing third-party air result.
What varies is the building and the rulebook. Bronx properties are inside New York City, so DEP notifications, ACP-5 reports and stop work order steps are part of the plan. Yonkers and Mount Vernon are in Westchester, outside the city, where asbestos work runs under New York State's Industrial Code Rule 56 and no ACP-5 applies.
